2024 Members' Conference

2024 sees the 90th Anniversary of the formation of the Union. To mark the occasion, the Union's Members' Conference will be held in Montreal, Canada. This is the first time that the Union has held its AGM/Members Conference in Canada, and it seems particularly relevant that we should be visiting the home of ICAO during our 90th year.

The Members Conference will provide the usual mix of technical workshops and presentations formulated by the various Study Groups to provide you with the most up to date and relevant information on the topics and challenges facing our Membership and the wider aerospace industry. Presenters from both within the Union's Membership, and drawn from relevant external industry sectors, will provide three days of technical presentations alongside the usual social programme, organised to allow delegates to network, renew business relationships and meet new friends in the stunning City of Montreal.

Venue and Timetable

The Conference is being held at the Hotel Bonaventure, Montreal. The event will start with an informal buffet lunch for Delegates and Partners just before the formal opening. Plenary sessions run through the Tuesday afternoon, will be held all day on Wednesday with the final working session held on Thursday morning. An optional tour, for both Delegates and Partners, will also be arranged for the Thursday afternoon following the close of the Plenary sessions. Further details of this tour, and information about Partner tours will be released over the next few weeks.

Delegate Rates

 

The Delegate / Partner Fees are as follows:

Delegate Fee CAD2,800 inclusive of local taxes (Early Bird Rate of CAD2,460 available until 29 March 2024).

Partner Fee CAD940.

The Delegate Fee includes:

•    Entry to all Business sessions
•    Refreshment breaks and lunches (according to the programme) from 28 to 30 May.
•    Attendance and transfers for social events on the evenings of Tuesday 28 (Welcome Reception) and Wednesday 29 May (Drinks Reception and Dinner).

The Partner Fee includes:
•    Buffet Lunch on Tuesday 28 May and attendance and transfers for social events on the evenings of Tuesday 28 May and Wednesday 29 May.

Hotel Accommodation

The Conference will be held at The Hôtel Bonaventure Montréal and a special delegate room rate has been negotiated for Delegates at this hotel for the main conference days:

Single/Double Room Rate CAD270 per night (subject to applicable local taxes – currently 3.5% Occupancy Tax per room per night, 5% goods & services tax, 9.975% Provincial Tax)

Once you have registered for the Conference a link will be provided that will allow you to book your accommodation at the Bonaventure on the basis of the above rates.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

Payment of the Delegate Fee (and accompanying Persons Fee, where relevant) can be made by Credit/Debit card, Bank Transfer or Purchase Order.

All cancellations must be received in writing to [email protected]  and will incur a CAD35.00 admin charge.
 
•    Within 48 hours of booking a full refund will be given minus a CAD35.00 admin charge.
•    Before 28 April 2024 a 50% refund will be given minus a CAD35.00 admin charge.
•    From 28 April no refunds will be given.

Substitutions can be made at any time without charge.
