Royal Aeronautical Society Paper on the Mental Health Challenge in Civil Aviation

The Union has contributed to a Paper published by the Royal Aeronautical Society.

The purpose of the paper is to contribute to the development of a coherent, global, industry wide response to the emerging safety risk posed by the mental health and wellbeing of all those employed within the civil aviation sector.

IUAI Cyber & Emerging Risks (CERG): Aviation Emerging Risks Survey 2024

One of the highlights of the Union’s Members’ Conference in Montreal was the presentation of the findings of the CERG’s first Emerging Risk Register Survey.
The Survey had 3 key objectives:

1. Building a radar of risks and opportunities which will continue to evolve
 
2. Gain early sight of new threats facing aviation operators and (re)insurers
 
3. Gather ideas on cyber and emerging risk topics for future conferences / workstreams.

The CERG will be running this Survey on an Annual Basis going forward.
