IUAI Statement on COVID 19

The current global pandemic has brought unprecedented change to the aerospace and insurance industries, the Union, and its Members. The aerospace insurance industry has a long history of supporting its clients during times of need, and the ongoing challenges presented by the COVID 19 situation are no exception.

Despite difficult trading conditions, and the changes in working practices and associated travel and work restrictions, insurers continue to provide professional and reliable services to their clients.

Since its formation in 1934, the Union has been at the forefront of working with its Members and all stakeholders across the aerospace insurance industry to meet the ever-changing demands of aviation and aerospace.

The Union, its Executive Committee, Study Groups, and Members are committed to working with all those involved in aerospace insurance to address the issues we are facing, and also to developing and maintaining relationships to face the long-term challenges that will exist in the changed business environment once the current threat has passed.
