Mission and objectives

The Union is established to promote, educate, represent and serve the global aerospace insurance industry and to:

• represent the interests of its Members to governments, and national and international institutions and associations, in order to positively influence the legislative and regulatory framework governing aerospace insurance;

• facilitate the dissemination of technical and statistical information amongst its Members through meetings and correspondence. For the avoidance of doubt, the technical and statistical data to be disseminated will relate to non-commercially sensitive issues affecting the Members;

• foster cooperation between Members in order to provide for the better understanding and conduct of aerospace insurance, and in order to encourage and develop best practice;

• promote a positive image of the global aerospace insurance industry to its insurers, legislators and regulators, and the wider public.
